Tata Communications and Oasis Smart SIM have stated that SanCloud will be powered by CloudSIM, a unique cloud-based embedded subscriber identity module. Deutsche Telekom IoT intends to integrate Intelsat FlexEnterprise into its cloud-based Internet of Things offering to extend powerful, easy-to-use IoT solutions to locations regardless of the availability of fiber or cellular connectivity options.

Security news

Resec has partnered with Sepio to provide an end-to-end solution to organizations looking to prevent threats coming from connected devices, whether from the devices themselves or from files transferred from them. Cyberint and etisalat by e& have formed a joint agreement to enhance their cybersecurity infrastructure with real-time intelligence and monitoring solutions.

Stellar Cyber has created its InterSTELLAR Partner Program to accelerate revenue for resellers of the Stellar Cyber Open XDR platform. Palo Alto Networks has unveiled new capabilities to boost its single-vendor SASE solution enabling organizations to automate their increasingly complex IT and network operations center (NOC) functions.

Cloudflare disclosed new Zero Trust integrations with Atlassian, Microsoft, and Sumo Logic. These new integrations will help businesses of any size easily secure the tools and applications they rely on with enterprise-ready Zero Trust security. CSG has been awarded a patent in the US and Australia for CSG Encompass. The platform enables telcos to expand their portfolios with products and services from partners and tap into the promise of a lucrative B2B2X market. The patent anchors CSG's position as an industry leader in B2B2X and protects its unique design for powering a frictionless user experience.

New research shows industry advancement. As new Open RAN developments progress, 5G Americas has released “The Evolution of Open RAN”, which provides an update to a 5G Americas’ 2020 report on Open RAN standards. New figures from GSMA Intelligence show 5G connections are expected to double over the next two years, expedited by technological innovations and new 5G network deployments in more than 30 countries in 2023 alone. Of the new networks to be deployed in 2023, it is expected that 15 will be 5G Standalone networks. President Director and CEO of Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, Vikram Sinha, discussed the story of Indosat, the most successful merger that empowers Indonesia. Indosat is the new world-class digital telecoms and internet company for Indonesia resulting from the merger of Indosat Ooredoo and Hutchison 3 Indonesia.

Vodafone Group Plc has completed the sale of 50 percent of its German fiber-to-the-home company to Altice. The creation of the JV received European Commission approval last month. FibreCo will deploy fiber-to-the-home to up to seven million homes in Germany over a six-year period.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise has signed an agreement to acquire Axis Security, which will allow HPE to expand its edge-to-cloud security capabilities by offering a unified Secure Access Services Edge solution to meet the increasing demand for integrated networking and security solutions delivered as-a-service. T-Mobile US has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Ka’ena Corporation and its subsidiaries and brands: Mint Mobile, a successful direct-to-consumer prepaid wireless brand in the U.S.; Ultra Mobile, a unique wireless service offering international calling options to communities across the country; and wholesaler Plum.

Reach and the National Content & Technology Cooperative have formed a preferred partner agreement whereby NCTC is providing its members with access to the Reach platform to quickly deploy and monetize mobile services.
