VEON is entering into a strategic partnership with Engro Corp with respect to the pooling and
management of its infrastructure assets, starting in Pakistan. Alianza has
signed a definitive agreement with Microsoft to
acquire
Metaswitch, a provider of high-performance communications software. The acquisition will give Alianza a combined customer base of more than 1,000 communications service
providers, including 19 of the top 20 global operators, as well as a comprehensive portfolio of services that will streamline the path to a cloud-orchestrated, AI powered communications
future. VIAVI has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Inertial Labs, Inc. for an
initial consideration of $150 million at closing and up to $175 million of contingent consideration over four years. VIAVI intends to fund the transaction
through cash on hand.
Snowflake revealed its growing presence in the Middle East with
the establishment of a new regional headquarters in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and general availability on Google Cloud in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to better meet the Kingdom’s data residency and
sovereignty requirements so that data can reside within the country’s borders. Cable One has amended the terms of its strategic investment in Mega Broadband to provide enhanced timing flexibility for Cable One’s potential acquisition of
full ownership of MBI. OKI has entered a strategic
partnership with FPT agreeing partial ownership of OKI’s two software development subsidiaries in China. The collaboration is set to accelerate software development capabilities and drive
