Netcracker announced that Horry Telephone Cooperative (HTC) will upgrade its OSS to Netcracker 12 and that Group Vivendi Africa (GVA) selected Netcracker's OSS suite to support its network expansion and long-term growth strategy.
Cerillion announced that Sure, a member of the Batelco Group, has selected its B/OSS suite including convergent charging, CRM, product catalogue, revenue manager, service manager and self service modules. The solution is aimed at providing fully digital services and experiences to Sure's business, corporate and retail customers.
Juniper Networks and Telefónica announced they are collaborating to develop machine learning and artificial intelligence to improve the customer experience. The collaboration supports Telefónica's goal of creating autonomous networks that provide greater security, control, automation, and problem resolution. The solution will provide customers with a better experience as network configuration, faults, and other issues are automatically corrected.
In Nigeria, MTN selected Nokia to create customer-centric operations to improve the experience of 52 million customers. MTN will deploy Nokia Cognitive Analytics for Customer Insight with Nokia Service Quality Manager (SQM) software. Powered by machine learning algorithms, Nokia Cognitive Analytics for Customer Insight software provides a complete view of customer satisfaction, revenue, and device and network performance. When combined with Nokia SQM, which provides a holistic picture of service behavior and performance, MTN Nigeria will be able to speed the identification of service issues, like poor voice call and data session quality, and prioritize improvements based on customer and business impact.
Omantel announced that it has selected
mAdme to improve the customer experience for 100s of millions of customers, using mAdme's Impact ConversionTM Platform. The platform will enable Omantel to offer more personalized
deals, services, and products based on customer activity and gather more direct customer feedback to improve services, quality, and care.
Nokia also announced this month that it has joined forces with Credit Andorra Financial Group to enable the global financial services company to connect its branch locations and remote sites worldwide to its corporate data centers and applications.
In a brief media announcement, Vodafone and SoftBank announced they are teaming up in a strategic alliance to provide enhanced mobile services for enterprise customers in Japan. Vodafone also announced this month that it has become the digital telematics partner for Admiral Insurance, the UK's largest care insurance provider.
In the US, Sprint announced the availability of SpiderCloud's small cell solution to densify its network and improve service coverage for enterprises and public venues. AT&T and Cisco Spark announced integration into a single platform to provide a continuous work stream across multiple devices. Microsoft announced this month that Park Place has selected its cloud services, including Office 365 and Dynamics 365 with LinkedIn Sales Navigator to accelerate Park's ability to deliver engineering services in over 100 countries. And, WOW! announced that it extended 1 Gbps speeds to make them available to over 2,800 enterprises and residences in Farmington, Michigan.
