SES will acquire Intelsat through the purchase of 100 percent of the equity of Intelsat Holdings S.a.r.l. for a cash consideration of $3.1 billion and certain contingent value rights. The sale of Vodafone Spain to Zegona Communications has
received final approval from the Spanish
authorities. Uniti has entered into a definitive agreement to merge with Windstream. Under the terms of the agreement, which have been unanimously approved by both companies’ Board of Directors, Uniti shareholders will hold
approximately 62 percent of the outstanding common equity of the combined company upon closing, and Windstream shareholders will hold approximately 38 percent of the outstanding common
equity.
