A successful trial on Deutsche Telekom's 5G-enabled network could pave the way for major advances in sustainable mobile site operations through the use of renewable energy. The joint Ericsson and DT initiative has transformed a live radio site using a management solution to efficiently harness solar and wind energy while optimizing power supply and demand.
Two new studies reveal how industry leaders feel about security. While the world’s CISOs spent 2021 coming to terms with new ways of working, many now feel much more in control of their environment. According to research from Proofpoint, 48 percent of CISOs feel that their organization is at risk of a cyberattack in the next 12 months, down from 64 percent last year. Aqua Security’s new research shows that nearly 70 percent of CISOs believe open-source security solutions provide a faster way to secure their environments, including access to the best and most current innovations in cloud security.
