stc Group and Ericsson have deployed the world's first implementation of Automated Radio Resource Partitioning on a 5G standalone network slice. T-Mobile mobilized resources to provide first responders and other public safety agencies with critical support in response to the escalating wildfires in Colorado and California. NTT DOCOMO will initiate the commercial deployment of New Radio-Dual Connectivity across three frequency bands ― Sub-6 (3.7GHz and 4.5GHz bands) and millimeter-wave (28GHz band) ― for high-speed transmissions offering the fastest 5G SA service in Japan. Ericsson formed a collaboration with NRTC, Southern Linc, and Anterix to deliver private network solutions to electric cooperatives of all sizes and service terrains across the United States.

Datalec Precision Installations built a new manufacturing facility in the United Arab Emirates marking its strong commitment to the region. The dedicated 51,000 square foot facility will produce aisle containment and security caging to DPI’s exacting standards. China Unicom Beijing and Huawei have deployed an ultra-large-scale commercial 5.5G 3CC network in Beijing that covers more than 70 percent of the area within the city's 4th Ring Road. Nokia has been selected by Swisscom Broadcast to deploy a nationwide Drones-as-a-Service network across Switzerland. Three hundred Nokia Drone-in-a-Box units are planned for deployment to enable emergency response, perimeter protection, and infrastructure inspection to help keep public safety workers safe. Start Campus was awarded additional power by REN, the Portuguese transmission system operator. This expanded power allocation brings the total IT capacity secured for SINES DC to 1.2 GW, an increase on the initial 495 MW, making it the largest colocation site in Europe with fully secured grid power.

Arelion and Ciena successfully completed the world's first 1.6 terabits-per-second wavelengths data transmission in a live network field trial. Powered by Ciena’s state-of-the-art WaveLogic 6 Extreme, this milestone occurred on Arelion’s 470km route between its existing Points-of-Presence in Ashburn, Virginia (Equinix) facility and Telxius’ (Telxius-CLS) Virginia Beach cable landing station, increasing capacity between two critical locations in Arelion’s North American network.
