This month included launches and updates of a variety of digital business tools to improve end-user or subscriber CX. netsapiens announced that it has officially released v39 of its award-winning, signature SNAPsolution platform with enhanced unified communications features. Already provided to current managed services users as a free download, the updates offered increased flexibility and efficiency, enabling them to better meet end-users’ evolving and various communications needs. Swiftpage, the provider of Act! CRM software, a leading cloud-enabled platform aimed at helping small and mid-sized businesses grow, launched an all-new Act! 365 with Office 365 integration in Spanish. Designed to meet the needs of the Spanish-speaking and Latino-owned business community in North America, Act! 365 is a brand-new sales productivity and emarketing solution. And, Shenandoah Telecommunications Company (Shentel), a local provider of cable, internet and wireless services, announced it has significantly boosted—tripled, in fact—the internet speed of its existing business customers. Price has remained level.

Mariner xVu released XpertVu Self-Care, an advanced application for service providers to self-diagnose and repair video and broadband services—significantly improving subscribers’ quality of experience. In another advancement toward improving the subscriber experience, Calix announced Mosaic Telecom, a leading local exchange carrier (LEC), is tapping into the full power of Calix Cloud to deliver an exceptional subscriber experience while increasing ARPU and take rates by 80 percent. And Viavi has released firmware to simplify and enhance testing in the headend and in the field. The latest release for the VSE-1100 promotes quicker alignment and troubleshooting.


To improve network quality and user experience for Wind Tre’s 31 million customers, the Italian communication service provider has selected Ericsson to modernize its Radio Access Network (RAN) across the country. With this deal, Wind Tre will implement the Ericsson Radio System product portfolio—including new ERS Radios and ERS Basebands—into its network starting this October.
