This collaboration combines NTT DATA’s deep industry expertise in AI, cloud-native modernization, and data engineering with Google Cloud’s advanced analytics, AI, and cloud technologies to deliver tailored, scalable enterprise solutions. A1 Macedonia has selected Amdocs to modernize its monetization platforms. This transformation is designed to support A1 Macedonia’s digital growth strategy and deliver future-proof capabilities that will enhance customer experiences and operational performance.
Oracle released Oracle Globally Distributed Exadata Database on Exascale Infrastructure, designed to simplify the deployment of distributed mission-critical applications across Oracle Cloud Infrastructure regions worldwide. This new service automatically distributes, stores, and synchronizes data across multiple locations, enabling applications to remain online even during regional outages and helping businesses meet data residency requirements. Nokia is working with ProRail, the organization responsible for the Netherlands’ national railway network infrastructure, to deploy a cloud-native Global System for Mobile Communications for Railway core network, a global first for the rail industry.
Fortinet has significantly expanded FortiCloud, its global cloud infrastructure. The latest release introduces FortiIdentity, designed for cloud-delivered identity management for hybrid teams, and two new beta services, FortiDrive and FortiConnect, to provide enterprise-grade secure storage and protected communications. Each service is tightly integrated into the Fortinet Security Fabric, giving organizations security-native alternatives to point products often dependent on bolt-on security.
Palo Alto Networks and CyberArk have entered into a definitive agreement under which Palo Alto Networks will acquire CyberArk. Under the terms of the agreement, CyberArk shareholders will receive $45.00 in cash and 2.2005 shares of Palo Alto Networks common stock for each CyberArk share. Genesys announced $1.5 billion in new investment commitments from Salesforce and ServiceNow, with each company agreeing to invest an equal amount. Accenture has agreed to acquire CyberCX, a leading privately-owned cybersecurity services provider serving both private and public sector organizations across Australia, New Zealand, and internationally. Accenture has also invested, through Accenture Ventures, in CLIKA, a high-performance AI compression platform company. The investment will expand Accenture’s intelligent edge and infrastructure engineering capabilities and fast-track AI deployment for edge devices.
Palo Alto Networks’ founder, Nir Zuk, who is also Chief Technology Officer, and board member, has retired after more than 20 years of contributing to the company’s success. Lee Klarich, Chief Product Officer, has been appointed to the company’s Board of Directors and has also assumed the role of CTO, continuing the company’s leadership in AI and platformization, and delivering the real-time, AI-driven security that customers require to enable their digital and AI transformations. SAP has entered into an agreement to acquire SmartRecruiters, a leading talent acquisition software provider. SmartRecruiters’ deep expertise in high-volume recruiting, recruitment automation, and AI-enabled candidate experience and engagement is considered an ideal addition to the SAP SuccessFactors human capital management suite.
AT&T has agreed to purchase certain wireless spectrum licenses from EchoStar for a total of approximately $23 billion, subject to certain adjustments. Wipro has entered into an agreement to acquire the Digital Transformation Solutions business unit of HARMAN, a Samsung company, in a transaction that will accelerate Wipro’s mission to deliver next-generation engineering research & development services. Automated Industrial Robotics acquired Owens Design, a Fremont, California-based industrial automation company with deep experience developing custom solutions for customers in high-tech industries.
