Vodafone Spain and SEMI, a Spanish industrial group, have been awarded a five-year, 25.5 million Euro contract by ADIF to enhance the high-speed train routes from Albacete to Alicante and Barcelona to Figueras with reliable 5G coverage. Gilat Satellite Networks was awarded millions of dollars in orders for a cellular backhaul over satellite project led by a Mexican federal agency. Gilat Satellite Networks was also chosen by a Tier 1 global telecommunications operator for the satellite connectivity of a major utility company in Western Europe.
