Through theaward-winning Instant Network programme, Vodafone Foundation deploys trained Vodafone employee volunteers and communications technologies to emergencies in order to restore and provide free, vital communications and technical support to aid agencies and those directly affected.

At the same time, Vodafone Czech Republic is providing its customers affected by flooding with free unlimited data for those who pay monthly, or a complimentary1 GB data card for those who prepay.

Lisa Felton, Director of Vodafone Foundation, said: “Our thoughts are with all those affected by the devastating flooding in Central and Eastern Europe. We are mobilising resources, providing funds and deploying our Instant Network connectivity solutions to assist relief efforts on the ground. Our priority is to ensure that people have access to communications, empowering both emergency responders and those in need to stay connected and informed during this critical time.”
