Archtop Fiber Expands into Sand Lake, N.Y., Bringing Future-Ready Fiber Internet to Homes and Businesses

Archtop Fiber announced the continued expansion of its state-of-the-art fiber-optic network into the Town of Sand Lake, New York. Construction is currently underway, with the first homes and businesses expected to be connected to Archtop Fiber’s ultra-fast network this summer.

The expansion into Sand Lake marks another important milestone in Archtop Fiber’s ongoing investment in building future-ready broadband infrastructure across New York State. Once service becomes available, residents and businesses in Sand Lake will have access to symmetrical Internet speeds of up to 10 Gbps, delivering the speed, reliability, and performance needed to support remote work, streaming, gaming, smart home technology, cloud applications, business operations, and community organizations.

As construction continues to support long-term connectivity improvements across the community, residents may notice Archtop Fiber crews marking roadways and utility corridors, accessing underground infrastructure, and installing network equipment, including flush-mounted ground boxes. The company is working closely with local officials to minimize disruption and restore impacted areas as efficiently as possible, with construction activities designed to limit interruptions to daily operations.
