Deutsche Telekom Improves Customer Speeds
Deutsche Telekom announced that even without a fiber-optic connection, customers can now use speeds of up to 500 Mbit/s with MagentaZuhause Hybrid XXL. Deutsche Telekom is once again speeding up its fixed-network connections and will be offering innovative hybrid solutions for fast and fail-safe Internet from August 1. With the new MagentaZuhause Hybrid plans, speeds of up to 500 Mbps for download and 50 Mbps for upload are possible.

Ericsson Completes Aduna Transaction
Ericsson announced the completion of the equity investments by twelve global communication service providers into its subsidiary Aduna, formally establishing Aduna as a 50:50 joint venture. Aduna was created to combine and sell aggregated network Application Programming Interfaces globally. It has been operational since the deal signed on 11 September 2024.

NTT DATA Reveals GenAI in Healthcare Research
NTT DATA announced that their research reveals that healthcare organizations are struggling to create cohesion between their GenAI ambitions and strategies. More than 80% of healthcare organization leaders surveyed said they have a well-defined GenAl strategy, but only 40% agreed their GenAl strategy strongly aligns with their business strategy. Only 54% classified their GenAI capability as high performing.

Orange Cyberdefense announced that it has acquired 100% of ensec, a Swiss cybersecurity company based in Zurich, known for its expertise in consulting, IT security integration, managed security services and tailored support for a wide-ranging portfolio of products from leading cybersecurity providers.
