Huawei and EDMI Sign IoT Licensing Agreement
Huawei and EDMI announced signing a patent license agreement under fair, reasonable, and non-discriminatory conditions. Huawei will grant a cellular IoT Standard Essential Patents license, including NB-IoT, LTE-M and LTE Cat. 1 to EDMI. This agreement represents another recognition of the strength of Huawei's cellular IoT SEPs from industry peers. It also enables EDMI to secure its own business and provide comprehensive legal protection to its customers.

KMD Commissions T-Systems
T-Systems announced that KMD has commissioned T-Systems to operate its mainframe infrastructure. This infrastructure is a high-performance and highly scalable IT environment optimized for business-critical applications and data processing. Starting in the first half of 2025, T-Systems will take over responsibility for operations. The contract has a duration of seven years, with the option to extend. Both companies did not disclose the contract volume.
