PAX Technology Selects Anritsu Signalling Tester for Smart Payment Terminal Certification Tests

Anritsu announced that PAX Technology has selected Anritsu's MD8475B Signalling Tester (Base Station Simulator) to support wireless regulatory testing of smart payment terminals.

PAX introduces smart payment terminals to individual regions around the world and must obtain certifications for each country. PAX sought a testing environment allowing in-company pre-evaluation of wireless test items—one of the regulatory tests—to quickly and reliably acquire different certifications required by each country. With a wide range of test functions, including protocol, RF transmitter and receiver (TRx), and application tests, Anritsu’s MD8475B is the ideal solution satisfying PAX’s test requirements. Additionally, its intuitive and user-friendly GUI facilitates efficient test setup. PAX uses the MD8475B during the development stage of payment terminal for preliminary verification to detect and resolve early problems, helping cut test times for standards certification and shortening time to market.
