Parallel Wireless Enhances Trusted RIC for Governed Multi-Vendor Automation

Parallel Wireless announced the next release of its Trusted RIC, reinforcing its commitment to delivering production-ready, governed, and interoperable RAN intelligence. Designed for both commercial and mission-critical networks, T-RIC enables operators to securely onboard and operate third-party xApps within an operator-controlled RAN environment, integrating external innovation while maintaining full control over how automation is introduced and executed across the network.

As part of the broader INFINITY AI architecture, Trusted RIC provides a secure xApp onboarding framework that allows third-party applications to be integrated, certified, and executed within clearly defined guardrails. T-RIC runs both PW-certified xApps to gold-standard specifications and third-party applications within an open, commercially proven, US-based architecture. While xApps remain independent by design, operators retain centralized visibility and policy control over xApp behavior, ensuring automation is applied consistently across multi-vendor environments without compromising network stability or security.

As RIC platforms move beyond basic standards compliance toward real-world deployment, trust and governance become essential. Trusted RIC introduces a dedicated trust layer governing near-real-time RAN intelligence, enforcing operator-defined policies for action prioritization, resilience against unstable automation, and controlled execution of actions that directly impact live network performance.
