GLBB Japan Customers Gain Access to DE-CIX’s Global Interconnection Ecosystem

DE-CIX and GLBB announced a partnership to provide GLBB’s customers access to the global DE-CIX interconnection ecosystem. The agreement allows customers of GLBB Japan to benefit from the data center and carrier neutral DE-CIX interconnection platform, which offers peering, cloud connectivity, and other enterprise-grade interconnection services. Starting immediately, the Tokyo-based GLBB will offer access to the DE-CIX Cloud Exchanges in Tokyo and Osaka, and the distributed DE-CIX ASEAN interconnection platform, which enables users from Japan to directly access over 100 Southeast Asian networks, as well as remote peering with networks at DE-CIX Frankfurt, the largest IX in Europe and one of the largest in the world.

From designing to operating, GLBB Japan provides one-stop Internet services. Now, in partnership with DE-CIX, the ISP is further expanding its portfolio. Wherever networks become more interconnected, it unlocks more potential for users. DE-CIX offers its interconnection services in close to 60 locations in Europe, Africa, North and South America, the Middle East, and Asia. For example, Penang IX (PIX) powered by DE-CIX and DE-CIX Jakarta went live in 2024, offering the Southeast Asian market new opportunities on the DE-CIX Asia platform.
