UfiSpace, the
leading enabler of open and disaggregated transport networks announces that they will be
showcasing several next-generation solutions for fixed and mobile broadband
networks at several exhibitions this year. UfiSpace solutions include open
access, open aggregation and open core routers supporting OpenXR, OpenZR+ and
Pluggable OLT solutions, which will be integrated with industry leading cloud-native software from Arrcus, DriveNets and IP Infusion.
XR optic transceivers integrated with UfiSpace’s open routers
enable an architecture suitable for scalable point-to-point and point-to-multipoint
connectivity ideal for access, aggregation, and metro optical networks. As
network operators continue to face challenges from significant bandwidth
growth, XR optics can simplify network architectures, reduce operating costs,
and provide more efficient capacity allocation. Support for XR optical
transceivers is found on UfiSpace’s S9700 series and S9600 series of open
routers. UfiSpace will be showcasing their models at SCTE and ECOC including
support for XR optics provided by Infinera.
OpenZR+ is a combination of two industry standards, Open
ROADM and 400ZR, to create a simple QSFP-DD transceiver pluggable into
UfiSpace’s routers to address both hyperscale data center interconnects and
emerging carrier and MSO transport architectures. Network operators can utilize
OpenZR+ to simplify architectures while achieving volume and scale for access
aggregation to regional and long-haul. UfiSpace has several access, aggregation
and core routers that support OpenZR+ optics and will be showcasing these
models at SCTE and TIP Summit.
The pluggable OLTs from Tibit Communications allow UfiSpace
routers to be a part of any 10G PON network, leading to a simpler PON
architecture for network operators. Requiring less space and power versus
traditional OLT equipment, the Tibit MicroPlugTM OLTs are also
suitable for virtualized PON and other software defined network
implementations. UfiSpace, along with their partners IP Infusion and Tibit
Communications, will be showing their next-gen PON solution integrated with
UfiSpace’s S9500 access routers at SCTE and TIP Summit.
UfiSpace will also be introducing their solutions for
disaggregated cell site gateways, open broadband network gateways and
distributed disaggregated backbone routers at SCTE, TIP Summit and Broadband
World Forum.
