Informa Tech has launched The
Broadband 50 people to watch, which highlights the most influential leaders,
innovators and disrupters who are connecting the world.
The list has been curated by Phil Harvey the editor -in-chief of Light Reading,
as well as Julie Kunstler senior principal analyst – Broadband Access
Infrastructure at Omdia and Jaimie Lenderman, senior analyst broadband access
infrastructure Omdia. Industry journalist Paula Gilbert and Nicole Ferraro were
also involved in the curation of the Broadband 50 to Watch list.
The Broadband 50 to watch was curated by consulting leading service provider
analysts at Omdia, who identified vendor and service provider performance, as
well as identifying executives and companies across the entire broadband
networking stack.
Phil Harvey, editor in chief at Light reading commented: “When we
started working on this list, we wanted to highlight the people propelling the
next generation of broadband networks and services forward.
“We intentionally did not fill the list with the CEOs of billion-dollar market
cap monopolies. We didn't do a financial analysis of each firm or pick
companies based on their stock's performance potential”
