IoT and Innovation News

ZTE has showcased its Infinity Wireless Lab's collaboration with robot manufacturers including DroidUp, AgiBot, and TLIBOT, at MWC Shanghai 2025, completing the industry's first demonstration of a cross-brand robot group intelligence collaboration scenario. In other robot news, Peer Robotics released Peer 3000, the next generation of its collaborative mobile robot platform. Peer 3000 is engineered to solve the long-standing incompatibility problem with existing assets. Parsons Corporation and IBM announced a collaboration to deliver on President Donald Trump’s and Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy’s vision for a brand new, state-of-the-art air traffic control system

Iveda rolled out its IvedaAI platform across Bacoor City’s CCTV network, alongside the installation of the Philippines’ first IvedaAI Forensics Desk at the Bacoor City Police Station. The project, completed in partnership with Bacoor’s trusted local systems integrator, marks the second marquee deployment under Iveda Philippines’ broader $3 million smart-city initiative aimed at modernizing metropolitan Manila and beyond. BinSentry, an agriculture technology company, is leveraging Soracom’s IoT building blocks and connectivity to enable its machine learning-enabled sensors to support intelligent, automated feed management solutions for feed mill operators, agricultural industry vertical integrators, and livestock farms.



IonQ shared the results of a collaborative research program between IonQ, AstraZeneca, Amazon Web Services, and NVIDIA to develop and demonstrate a quantum-accelerated computational chemistry workflow that has the potential to power world-changing innovation in healthcare, life sciences, chemistry, and more. Insulet's Omnipod 5 App for iPhone is now compatible with the Dexcom G7 Continuous Glucose Monitoring System. With this latest integration, the Omnipod 5 Automated Insulin Delivery System combines the benefits of tubeless AID and Dexcom’s latest diabetes management technology, all conveniently controlled from an iPhone.

Keysight announced that it has enabled NIO to successfully validate the wireless systems in its smart electric vehicles using Keysight network emulation solutions. As a result, NIO’s vehicles now comply with 3GPP and IEEE 802.11 standards and deliver improved connectivity and performance to support the next generation of electric vehicle development. IBM plans to build the world's first large-scale, fault-tolerant quantum computer,setting the stage for practical and scalable quantum computing.

Parallel Wireless, Net Insight, and Turk Telekom are now supporting 6G Open RAN standardization efforts, with a focus on advancing GPS/GNSS-independent synchronization technology. Keysight, NTT, and NTT Innovative Devices achieved a world record in data rate using sub-THz frequencies. This milestone was reached with Keysight's Vector Component Analyzer in conjunction with NTT’s and NTT Innovative Devices' high-output, wide-bandwidth J-band Indium Phosphide-based power amplifier. In addition, advanced digital pre-distortion techniques were employed to mitigate amplifier non-linearities, ensuring robust, high-fidelity signal generation.
