ZTE Gains TM Forum ODA Certification

ZTE’s OSS Series Products of AIR Net Solution Gain TM Forum’s “Ready for ODA” Certification

  • ZTE has successfully obtained the "Ready for ODA(Open Digital Architecture)" certification for its OSS series products of AIR Net high-level autonomous networks solution, awarded by TM Forum
  • ODA certification has emerged as a competitive edge for ZTE's AIR Net solution, endowing it with more open and interoperable product capabilities
ZTE announced that it has successfully obtained the "Ready for ODA" certification for its OSS series products of AIR Net high-level autonomous networks solution, awarded by TM Forum. This accomplishment underscores ZTE's  significant contributions and firm commitment to promoting digital transformation and advancing open digital architecture in the global telecommunications industry.

As a global industry association, the TM Forum launched the ODA program in 2017. This initiative is designed to assist digital service providers in accelerating innovation, launching new digital services, constructing more agile and flexible system architectures, and providing guiding frameworks and reference architectures for key sectors.

ZTE has been an active participant in formulating ODA standards. Collaborating closely with TM Forum, ZTE has made significant contributions to enhancing the ODA framework and driving digital service development for operators. Furthermore, ZTE is a member of the TM Forum ODA Manifesto, having completed thirty-two Open API certifications, thereby achieving a Platinum Certification Member. In addition to these achievements, ZTE has also won multiple Catalyst Project awards.

Mr. Zheng Peng, Vice President of ZTE, received the ODA trophy at Digital Transformation World (DTW) 2025 in Copenhagen. "ZTE highly values the rapid integration capability of ODA standard interfaces, which has delivered substantial value to operators," said Zheng Peng. "ZTE's AIR Net autonomous networks solution integrates the ODA framework, leveraging three interconnected engines for AI large language model engine, big data engine, and digital twin engine, and ZTE's open-source Co-Sight Framework, enabling multiple Copilot Assistants and scenario-specific Agent Experts. ZTE's AIR Net solution has been successfully implemented in various scenarios, including network energy saving, automated intelligent troubleshooting, and user complaint reduction."

Against the industry trend of "multi-cloud and multi-vendor", ODA certification has emerged as a competitive edge for ZTE, endowing it with more open and interoperable product capabilities. Diverging from traditional closed architectures, ZTE integrates Nebula telecom large model and ODA to unify technical languages, internally reconstructing API-based atomic capability repositories and establishing a modular product construction model. Through Open API certifications and ODA compliance, ZTE extends capability openness and invocation to different vendors, integrating into the cross-vendor open ecosystem constructed by TM Forum. This signifies a shift from "product thinking" to "ecological thinking", laying a solid foundation for open architecture competition in the 6G era.

ZTE remains committed to further strengthening its collaboration with TM Forum and industry partners to advance the development and application of ODA, thereby providing enhanced digital transformation services to customers worldwide.
