Wilson Connectivity Unveils 4330 SDR BDA

Wilson Connectivity Unveils 4330 Industrial/Consumer SDR BDA to Redefine In-Building Coverage Performance

New SDR Bi-Directional Amplifier delivers 6x power output and 2–3x the coverage area for industrial deployments under either Part 20 Industrial or Consumer certification

Wilson Connectivity announced the release of its newest innovation, the 4330i Software Defined Radio Bi-Directional Amplifier, certified under FCC Part 20 Industrial and supporting Software Defined Radio capability. The 4330i delivers breakthrough flexibility, enabling integrators and customers to deploy systems that provide up to six times the output power and two to three times the coverage area of previous models.

The 4330 Industrial SDR BDA represents a new era in BDA design by combining Wilson Connectivity’s proven RF performance with a software-defined architecture that allows users to select the operating mode (Industrial or Consumer), based on the deployment requirements. This flexibility empowers integrators to optimize installations for power, coverage, or regulatory needs without being locked into a single product category.

“The 4330 Industrial SDR BDA marks a major step forward in in-building wireless flexibility,” said James Martin, CTO at Wilson Connectivity. “By combining software-defined configurability and a 6x power increase, we’re enabling integrators to deliver stronger, smarter, and more cost-efficient coverage solutions that adapt to the needs of every environment.”

The 4330 Industrial SDR BDA is part of Wilson Connectivity’s broader strategy to advance repeater and amplifier technology through new SDR-based methods for amplification and coverage deployment. This innovation complements the company’s expanding portfolio of Hybrid Fiber, Fiber DAS, and Public Safety solutions, reinforcing its leadership in U.S.-designed and assembled wireless systems for enterprise, industrial, and public safety environments.

Key Benefits and Features
  • 6x power output for superior performance in large or complex structures
  • 2–3x coverage area compared to prior generation BDAs
  • Software-defined flexibility—switch between Part 20 Consumer and Industrial operation modes depending on required performance and regulatory requirements.
  • Reduced total cost of ownership through fewer units per deployment and simplified configuration
  • U.S. Design & Manufacturing for superior quality assurance and supply chain security
The 4330 Industrial SDR BDA is available now to authorized Wilson Connectivity integrators, distributors, and partners across the United States.
