LiveOak Fiber Expands High-Speed Fiber Network in Savannah, Georgia

LiveOak Fiber announced a significant milestone in the expansion and activation of its high-speed fiber-optic network in Savannah and Chatham County. Building on the company’s mission to bridge the digital divide, LiveOak Fiber will begin connecting customers and taking service orders for 1,200 homes and businesses in the Bacon Park and Sandfly areas within two weeks. Construction is moving rapidly and is on pace to deliver 7,200 passings by year-end.

LiveOak Fiber's expansion in Savannah builds upon its existing presence in the region, including its service to customers on Skidaway Island. This represents the first phase of a larger initiative that will ultimately serve 46,000 homes and businesses in Savannah and the surrounding area.
