HPE Accelerates Service Provider ModernizationHPE Accelerates Service Provider Modernization With AI Infrastructure Innovations at MWC 2026
HPE announced new solutions across networking and compute in advance of Mobile World Congress 2026 that accelerate modernization for service providers. With the new products and enhanced capabilities, HPE’s customers can build and operate their own AI infrastructure with low-latency, high-capacity, AI-native solutions from the core to the edge. “AI infrastructure is a critical growth driver for service providers. More than ever, HPE is committed to helping these customers lead in the AI era by building intelligent, next-generation networks that can support complex operations, rising data traffic, and the transformative capabilities of AI,” said Rami Rahim, executive vice president, president and general manager, Networking, HPE. “With high-performing infrastructure; simplified ease of management across compute, storage, and networking; and built-in security, HPE is helping customers virtualize and modernize their networks, simplify operations, and create new, higher-value services and advanced AI capabilities.” As the latest milestone in HPE’s integration of Juniper Networks, the company’s expanded service provider strategy focuses on secure, high-performing, AI-native networks that proactively resolve issues, assure quality of service for AI services, and enable cloud-like agility for managed services. This integration builds on the combined strengths in large-scale service provider infrastructure of both HPE and Juniper Networks, along with deep expertise across networking, compute, security, and cloud. HPE’s data center and routing infrastructure portfolio allows service providers, cloud providers and cloud-scale enterprise customers to aggressively scale their network fabric in support of high-growth AI workloads. Key to these capabilities are Juniper PTX Series routers, built on the Juniper Express 5 ASIC, which deliver a 49 percent improvement in power efficiency compared to the previous generation, enabling the latest PTX platforms to deliver exceptional performance, ultra high density, greater operational efficiency, and secure connectivity between data centers. The following new networking capabilities will be showcased at MWC 2026:
At MWC, HPE will also show new compute innovations that speed 5G and AI deployments, enhance security, and streamline automation from the edge through the core network, including:
As service providers modernize for AI, they are being forced to rethink how they operate their clouds—driven by rising virtualization costs, sovereign data requirements, and the need to unify VMs and containers across the 5G core. HPE Cloud Ops Software is an integrated cloud management stack that brings together virtualization and containers, monitoring and full-stack observability, AIOps, cyber resiliency, DevOps automation, and FinOps—across multicloud, multi-vendor environments. It provides a single, unified control plane to modernize private clouds, reduce dependence on cost-prohibitive hypervisors, and run secure, multi-tenant services at scale. By combining automation, lifecycle management, and proactive issue resolution in one operational foundation, HPE Cloud Ops Software helps operators lower risk, control costs, accelerate new service rollout, and confidently launch AI-driven and managed services. “As AI reshapes traffic patterns and drives new uplink, latency, and capacity demands, HPE’s leadership in high-performance routing, switching, AI-native automation, telco cloud architectures, and security ensures operators are equipped for the next era of AI-driven connectivity,” said Ray Mota, CEO and Principal Analyst, ACG Research. “HPE delivers the architectural and operational foundation service providers need to fully participate in the AI value chain, resulting in a differentiated ability to offer secure, autonomous, on-demand digital services at scale.” HPE Financial Services (HPEFS) announces new 90/9 Advantage financing program In an era of commodity pricing uncertainty, HPEFS is making it easier for organizations to accelerate their AI and modernization projects with a new 90/9 Advantage financing program, requiring no payments for the first 90 days, followed by ultra-low monthly lease payments of 1 percent for the next 9 months. The program is available across the HPE portfolio including networking, compute, storage and software. HPE spotlight on innovation at Mobile World Congress booth At MWC 2026, HPE’s showcase will feature live demos highlighting how HPE can help customers automate operations to reduce costs, add new AI revenues, and speed time to deployment, as well as its vision of the future of wired and wireless connectivity, with new solutions from its routing, edge compute, Private 5G, Wi-Fi and unified SASE portfolio. HPE will also provide insight on how customers can prepare their data centers for the demands of AI with the latest turnkey private cloud solutions for AI, discover the power of HPE’s latest servers optimized for service provider networks, and generate new revenue through exceptional user experiences with AI-powered campus and branch networking.
