Cincinnati Bell Business Launches Connected Office Voice for Small Businesses

Cincinnati Bell today announced it is launching a new hosted unified communications (UC) service called Connected Office Voice that integrates voice email instant messaging and presence (IM&P) mobility and call recording services into a single cloud-based communications system

Cincinnati Bell Business has launched Connected Office Voice, a hosted communication solution for small businesses. This new hosted Unified Communications infrastructure delivers enhanced capabilities and lower overall costs. With Connected Office Voice, small businesses can seamlessly integrate voice, email, instant messaging & presence (IM&P), mobility and call recording services into a single, cloud-based, communications system.

Connected Office Voice utilizes the Internet as its access method and is offered in two configurations: Key System and PBX. The solution is designed for both new businesses, and to replace premises-based hardware systems with simple yet powerful solutions for businesses with up to 15 phones per location. 

Small businesses typically have similar communications needs as large businesses, yet pay a higher cost per user due to fixed costs spread over fewer employees.  These businesses can realize cost reductions in communications immediately with this hosted solution that is scaled to meet their changing needs. Ongoing maintenance and technology upgrades are no longer a business’s concern as Cincinnati Bell Business provides maintenance and upgrades on all components of the offering.

Connected Office Voice is the first product to be introduced in Cincinnati Bell Business’ new Connected Office suite of products. Additional products will be introduced later this year.
