Beyond Now Triples Subscribers for Adamo

Adamo Disrupts Spanish Telecoms Market, Tripling Subscribers With Beyond Now

The Spanish CSP implemented Beyond Now’s Infonova SaaS BSS platform to accelerate growth, extend fiber access to rural communities and deliver innovative digital offerings

Beyond Now and Adamo announced that Adamo has increased its subscriber base by 237%, adding 297,500 new customers’ services in a highly competitive market for telecoms services. Adamo implemented Beyond Now’s Infonova SaaS BSS platform to modernize its BSS environment which has helped drive significant growth, extend connectivity to rural areas and accelerate the expansion of innovative digital offerings including mobile and TV services.

Adamo, owned by private investment firm Ardian, announced a commitment to expand its network to reach more than 3.4 million homes across rural areas of Spain. Primarily, the Communications Service Provider is focused on improving access to 1Gbps fiber connectivity for remote and dispersed communities across the country, helping to address depopulation and economic decline. Adamo has subsequently narrowed the digital divide in Spain with its fixed broadband offering, and rapidly grown its business for mobile and over-the-top media services like Apple TV.

Adamo selected Beyond Now in 2019 as the core enablement platform for its digital transformation and accelerated growth journey, with the cloud-native BSS delivered as truly Software-as-a-Service. Low upfront cost proved critical in enabling Adamo to scale its operations in line with its subscriber growth.

In addition to Beyond Now’s expertise in the telecoms sector, the SaaS platform was chosen for its end-to-end BSS functionalities that automate key processes including billing, charging, product catalogue, order fulfilment and management, and service activation. The complete suite of SaaS BSS enabled Adamo to reduce time to market for new products and services, from idea to launch, in just a few days. Due to the SaaS nature of the platform, Adamo was able to lower Revenue to OPEX ratio by 30%. The newfound agility has enabled Adamo to capture a share of an already mature market for fixed, mobile, and digital services.

“Our relationship with Beyond Now has been critical to delivering on our strategy to strengthen connectivity and internet coverage across rural Spain,” said Carlos Moreno Adamo’s CTO, Adamo. “Our fast growth is testament to the enhanced agility we now benefit from which enables us to address dynamic customer needs for competitive mobile and OTT services in addition to our traditional fixed broadband offer. We’ll continue to evaluate the market’s requirements and bring solutions to customer problems where others in the sector have failed.”

Adamo leverages Beyond Now’s analytics to drive revenue assurance and billing insights to gain greater visibility and awareness of process functions. The CSP is also one of the first customers to use Beyond Now’s Wave AI Suite, benefiting from its anomaly detection to ensure operational effectiveness across orders, billing, and support services. This reduces time spent on manually resolving issues for an erroneous order or service through quick identification of a potential root cause with a proposed action for resolution.

“Adamo is a shining example of how an agile and innovative approach can make waves in a market where competition from incumbent players is fierce. We’re delighted to be accompanying them on their journey, offering a solution that grows with their business and provides confidence that new revenue generation doesn’t have to come at the expense of steep increases in operating and capital expenditure,” said Angus Ward, CEO, Beyond Now.
