Beyond Now Introduces Digital Business Platform For NTT DOCOMO

Beyond Now Has Introduced Its Digital Business Platform Into NTT DOCOMO’s Compensation Services

Beyond Now provided a SaaS platform to improve the operational efficiency, market launch speed, digitization, and customer experience of DOCOMO's compensation services.

 

Beyond Now announced that NTT DOCOMO has deployed Beyond Now’s Digital Business Platform to power its smartphone and tablet compensation service, ‘smart AnshinHoshou’.

Launched in September 2022, smart Anshin Hoshou service is a comprehensive coverage service that goes beyond traditional smartphone protection. In addition to covering smartphones and tablets, it provides compensation for the accidental damage or malfunction of digital devices used at home, unauthorized payments made via smartphones, and damage to personal belongings.

Beyond Now was selected by DOCOMO for the development of a new system to manage support requests and customer interactions, due to its robust system architecture and its proven track record as a common IT platform across the NTT Group.

We deeply appreciate Beyond Now’s unwavering support and expertise, which were instrumental in ensuring the smooth execution of this project," said Toru Yamagishi, Project Lead from the Aftermarket Services Department at DOCOMO.

In this project, the introduction of the Digital Business Platform as SaaS infrastructure enables greater scalability—such as the ability to quickly add new services—while also reducing additional development costs. Moreover, this platform serves as the foundation that allows DOCOMO customers to access services seamlessly through multiple channels, including DOCOMO Shops, customer centers, and the official website.

The collaboration continues to underpin NTT Group’s wider transformation efforts that have seen it quickly introduce new technologies, services and business models that meet the dynamic needs of its customers and partners.
