Mobileum Launches Advanced AI-based Signaling Threat Detection Solution with Tier 1 Operators
New
security product offers access to constantly updated threat reports and
an archive of previous threats to guard
against mobile security attacks
Mobileum,
a market leader in analytics solutions for telecoms, announced
that it has successfully launched its new Mobile Network Security
Product with Tier 1 operators across three continents.
Mobile communications systems are under constant threat from attackers, both internal and external, with the growth of fraud and the emergence of SS7 and
Diameter threats placing significant pressure on operators to ensure their networks are appropriately protected.
Designed
with this changing security marketplace in mind, Mobileum’s Mobile
Network Security Product provides a central hub that not only
continuously identifies and targets recent threats, but
also enables operators to look backwards at historical reports to
monitor for long term trends
Gary
Miller, VP Global Solutions at Mobileum, commented: “Over the last few
years, attacks on telecom networks have become increasingly
sophisticated and complex, requiring substantial focus and
efforts from operators to detect and counteract. While
we have always kept customers up to date on threats in the network, it
is the changing landscape of these threats that has led us provide
customers with a central
hub, allowing access to all threat reports including an archive of
previous threats to monitor for trends.”
Mobileum’s
Mobile Network Security Product is a free service offered to existing
security customers. It incorporates the latest in machine learning
technology and threat intelligence to detect malicious
signaling activity across multiple network domains, providing operators
with a powerful integrated network defense solution to tackle the
latest mobile security threats.
Gary added: “It is imperative for operators to stay on top of the ever changing threat landscape. With our Advanced SS7 and Diameter Threat Detection solution, telcos can now access a streamlined hub with detailed threat reports as well as the historical context necessary to safeguard their networks against even the most complex of attacks.”
