Tele2 Joins AWS Partner Network to Deploy Cloud Services to Customers Across Nordics and Baltics

Tele2 AB announced a collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to enhance the cloud services and cloud management portfolio that Tele 2 offers its customers to enable fast and flexible access to the cloud. Tele2 will leverage AWS cloud capabilities to support growing customer needs in the public sector and across different industry verticals and will assist them with digitalization of processes to enable optimized manufacturing, efficient distribution and improved customer service experiences.

As part of the collaboration, Tele2 now joins the AWS Partner Network (APN). Tele2 will combine its advanced network and connectivity, security, encryption and managed services with the broad portfolio of secure AWS capabilities to create customer solutions tailored to specific sector needs for companies in the Nordic and Baltic region.

This collaboration builds on Tele2’s existing relationship with AWS, as Tele2 has been using the AWS cloud for its own enterprise IT transformation, leveraging compute, analytics, and database capabilities, for several years. The cloud developer community within Tele2 has gained vast experience in cloud application integration and security and Tele2 can now leverage that experience to create new customer offerings that seamlessly integrate its solutions with the AWS cloud.

As an example of the collaboration, customers in the manufacturing sector can benefit from new Mobile Edge Computing (MEC) capabilities based on AWS Snow product family and IoT related services combining mobile connectivity with services such as AWS Greengrass IoT.
