Motorola is also showing Motorola's IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) that enables convergence and Push-to-X Services. In addition, Motorola will spotlight the "Communications Server," a new class of computers architected to optimize converged wireless and wireline communications applications while employing open, standards-based common communications platforms. Motorola will share its technology leadership with speakers in 13 sessions, including two keynote addresses.

Patapsco's new PacketBand TDM enables IP networks to emulate leased lines, so enabling clocked synchronous or legacy data to be delivered over IP, MPLS, Metro and Ethernet networks.
